How it works

Same punt. Your money stays on your side of the counter.

At a normal bookie, a losing bet is gone. At Puntsave, it moves into Savings you own.

Deposit and choose your split

Your first deposit splits between locked Savings and a Play Balance. You pick the split and the lock term. We'll suggest one.

Bet on real markets

AFL, NRL, racing, soccer, cricket, the NBA and more, at live odds. Head to head, line and totals, plus win bets on the gallops, harness and dogs.

Win unlocks. Lose saves.

A winning bet unlocks Savings into your withdrawable Balance. A losing stake moves into Savings, and your locked Savings come back to you in full at the end of your term.

FAQ

Questions punters ask us.

So can I actually lose money?

Your bets can lose, but a losing stake moves into your own locked Savings instead of disappearing. What you do pay is the 4% fee on each bet. Your locked Savings come back to you at the end of your lock term.

Can I win more than I put in?

No. Winning bets unlock your Savings into your withdrawable Balance, so a winning streak gets your money back to you sooner. Puntsave never pays out more than you've deposited. That's the trade for keeping your losses.

When can I withdraw?

Your Balance is withdrawable any time. Locked Savings are released at the end of the term you chose when you deposited, or earlier as your bets win. If you're doing it tough, you can ask us to release them early.

Are there other fees?

The 4% fee on each bet is how Puntsave makes money. There's no monthly subscription. The full fee schedule is in our Terms and on our "How Puntsave makes money" page.

Who can join?

Australian residents aged 18 or over. We'll verify your ID when you make your first deposit.
